Here is a home that could turn out quite nice if restored properly. As you can see from the photo the original cornice is peeping out from the vinyl siding that was used to cover it up. Restoring the cornice would add tremendous character back to the house and the block. The front door could also be more historically accurate.
A lot of changes have been made to this home. Especially since it was converted to a multifamily home. However, there still appears to be some good bones for anyone that is willing to remove vinyl floors, strip paint covering fireplace mantels, rip up carpet and remove dropped ceilings.
