Habitat for Humanity Newburgh is staring with the next phase of the East Parmenter Neighborhood, Phase IV. They have not quite finished phase III, but they are moving full steam ahead at their goal of completing all 5 phases. While so many get mired in the mud of Newburgh, it is heartening to see Habitats just chugging along and making the city better. Unfortunately, it is not common knowledge each house is a financial ‘loss’ to the organization…
But, we gain so much in a cleaner and healthier community. Volunteer your time if you don’t have the dollars…Go Local!
I love Habitat. My whole family has volunteered.
We love learning about the different construction jobs.
Highly recommended for a fun activity.
