This is another property that we looked at last year. Talk about a makeover! This is the north end of Liberty Street that doesn’t see as much attention as the south end but this property could set the precedent for what the rest of the neighboring shops should look like.  The cornice has been restored, as has the storefront entrance, and look at those floors! It’s a huge improvement from the last time we saw it. Even the garage/driveway entrance on the left has been worked on. The original asking price was $55k. Since then it looks like it has been sold and rehabbed. According to the listing the seller says they will deliver the property after renovations have been completed.  Details to keep in mind about this area: it’s across the street from the historic Oldtown Cemetery and the Weigand Tavern that is also available for purchase. Also, this home on the other side of the street has just been restored.
