This week’s Rescue Me post brings us to S. Lander and Spring Street. This building looks like it was once a store on the 1st floor. You can tell by the pole. It also looks like the building also has suffered a fire. Eventually when Newburgh comes back full swing, there will be lots of little shops that once used to exist in the many different neighborhoods of Newburgh. 35 Spring St Newburgh NY Google Map
Newburgh is New York State’s second largest historic district after NYC. Newburgh literally has hundreds of dilapidated and abandoned buildings just begging for someone to come scoop them up and restore them. I’ll continue to post my own photos, but if you have a particular building you would like to see saved, email me the photo of any building you appreciate that you would like to see rescued!
