SUNDAY, APRIL 3, 2011 Join hundreds of community members for a fun-filled day of music, entertainment, family fun, and advocacy for housing. Habitat Newburgh’s Walk for Housing raises critical funds to help further their mission of eliminating poverty housing and restoring dignity to hard-working families through home ownership. Whether you walk with fellow congregants or social club members, students and teachers, co-workers, neighbors, family, or friends, this will surely be a meaningful experience for all, knowing you are helping to build houses, and build hope in our community. Meet us at Habitat! The 5K Walk has a new route this year and will depart from Habitat’s new headquarters at the historic Kimball Building – 125 Washington Street, Newburgh. The walk will pass many completed and in-progress Habitat sites along the way. in Newburgh and passes several Habitat projects along the way. (Call the Habitat office for directions.)
