Free Classical Concert at Kaplan Hall

Hyunmee Lee has been described by critics as a “pianist with brilliant technique illumined with a richly nuanced tone palette.” Hyunmee Lee’s debut as a soloist at the age of nine at the Sibelius Academy Hall received rave reviews. Solo performances and interviews followed, including performances at the Seoul Arts Center as well as in New York’s Alice Tully Hall and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

Sheila Reinhold, violinist, gave her first performance as a soloist with an orchestra at the age of nine in the Kaufmann Concert Hall of New York’s 92nd Street Y. She received her B.Mus. from USC, and studied theory and analysis with Leon Kirchner and Earl Kim at Harvard University. Ms. Reinhold’s engagements have included solo appearances with conductors such as Zubin Mehta and André Kostelanetz, chamber music with Heifetz and Gregor Piatigorsky, and performances as a soloist at the Chautauqua and Ives Festivals. She has premiered solo and chamber works for both violin and viola, worked on major
films and Broadway productions, and appeared with popular artists such as Tony Bennett.
