A new post on the fanpage of the Historical Society of Newburgh Bay and the Highlands sends out a sincere thank you to Central Hudson for presenting a $10,000 check to City of Newburgh Historian Mary McTamaney. It will be used to create a series of Thomas Edison history programs during the 2013 Newburgh Illuminated festival held on the solstice weekend June 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 2013.
