We just can’t catch a break this winter huh? Very reminiscent of last winter in the photo above. All this ice has damaged the Newburgh dock, and will take 2 weeks to fix according to the Times Herald article.

It really wasn't a bad winter in Newburgh tons of small storms and we missed all the big ones (pre Feb 23, 2009)
Then came Feb 23 and we got 10 inches of wet snow followed 2 days later with another 25 (!!) inches of wet snow causing massive landscape changes and Central Hudson grid coming to an halt. I believe Central Hudson at one time had around 95% of their customers in Orange County without power!!!!!!
Never in my life I saw a snowstorm with the amount of devastation and power problems in the Hudson Valley.
