If I had a Hammer…

If I had a hammer I’d hammer in the morning
I’d hammer in the evening
All over this land
I’d hammer out danger
I’d hammer out a warning
I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land

Did you ever sing that song when you were young? I did, and this Saturday you will have the chance to sing it too alongside Pete Seeger who co-wrote this song with Lee Hays.

Habitat for Humanity of Newburgh is hosting an open-air concert featuring the legendary Pete Seeger and friends that will take place on Saturday, July 3rd from 1-4PM on the lawn at Washington’s Headquarters, overlooking the Hudson River waterfront in Newburgh, NY. All proceeds from ticket sales ($10 in advance, $15 at the door) will go to build Newburgh Habitat for Humanity’s next house in the City of Newburgh, NY. Kids under 12 free with an adult.

Food and drink will be from local restaurants. Bring the family, and sing along! Click here for details.
