On Friday’s real estate post it was mentioned that there was a rumor that a few new shops would be coming to Liberty Street. The rumor quickly became very true. Yesterday was the grand opening of a new shop called Bric A Brac. It’s located in the old Newburgh Art Supply shop at 87 Liberty Street. The shop is also owned by the same owners of the popular Newburgh eatery Caffe Macchiato. If their new shop is fashioned anything like their caffé, it will be a really exciting addition for the Washington Market area. Bric a Brac will carry vintage furniture, antiques, collectible art, jewelry, consignment, Newburgh made candles and more. Support your local businesses. They are a huge part of the revitalization of Newburgh.
