Since last September, the East Parmenter housing project being constructed by Habitat for Humanity has been moving full steam ahead. Not long ago the site was an empty barren lot. Today, there stands 4 homes which were dedicated to four families on May 21st. This is part of a master plan for development of 24 homes on East Parmenter Street. City historian, Mary McTameney even provided Habitat with a old photo of East Parmenter back in the 70’s. Check out the photo below for a trip back in time.
