The amazing Pop-Up-Gallery (PUG) is back for 2013 this Sunday with an exhibition called Orange Alert 3D. This is quite exciting since the 2010 exhibition was so well received. The Newburgh Art Scene is certainly growing to a full fledged movement!

When: Opening May 19th 1:00pm-4:00pm
Contact: Jackie at 845-304-3142

Press release:

PUG Projects is pleased to present five new artists in its upcoming exhibition Orange Alert 3D. The artists, Gerardo Castro, Bruce Chapin, Daniel Mack, Stefana McClure and Judy Sigunick, represent the rich creative diversity of Orange County.

Pug Projects, formerly known as The Pop-Up Gallery, was created in 2005 by Jackie Skrzynski as a way to curate exhibitions of art that was not getting enough exposure in Orange County. Now in its third reincarnation, PUG Projects continues to showcase local artists who often have gained significant recognition outside of Orange County, but are still relatively unknown here. In addition, it brings art to the community in non-traditional venues.

Pug Projects is excited to have this pop-up gallery in the warehouse of two of the region’s finest artisans, Alice Vaughan of Hudson River Bindery and Ellen Sigunick of Pergamena. While viewing the exhibition, visitors can also see their workshops and studios.

Please join us in celebrating with the artists on Sunday, May 19th, from 1-4pm. Off street parking is available.
