Step back in time and enjoy classic soul of the 1960s and 1970s as The Fellas take the stage with class and style at the Lobby at the Ritz on Saturday, April 12.

Formed in 1991, The Fellas perform Classic Soul inspired by such acts as The Temptations, The O’Jays, The Manhattans, The Spinners, Rachelle Farrell, Marvin Gaye, Will Downing and Phil Perry, to name a few. But more than an “oldies” group. Members include founders Ricardo Wright and Joe Rivera III along with JoQuae DeVonish and newest member Roman Barksdale.

Tickets are $25 each and include a meet and greet reception with the performers immediately following the performance.

www.ticketweb.com, or at the box office the evening of the performance. All major credit cards accepted. Tickets are general admission and seating is limited. The box office opens at 7 p.m., doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m.

The Tom Humphrey Music Series honors the memory of the Hudson Valley-based luthier who passed away in 2008 and is made possible by the generous support of the Newburgh Veterinary Hospital and the New York State Council on the Arts.

Safe Harbors of the Hudson is a large-scale nonprofit redevelopment project in the City of Newburgh, New York, whose mission is transforming lives and building communities through housing and the arts. It is comprised of the Ann Street Gallery, a contemporary arts venue; the Lobby at the Ritz Theater, a live performing arts space; the historic Ritz Theater, a restoration project; and the Cornerstone Residence, affordable supportive housing with adjoining artist studio space.
