Real Estate: 150 Johnston St $48,500

150 Johnson St Newburgh NY

This style home is probably my absolute favorite in the City of Newburgh. Just take a look up at my logo illustration above, can you tell? You can see this dollhouse style all over the city on South Street, Third Street and Lander. Johnston is a tough block, home to many vacant buildings and blight, yet so much potential. There are no interior photos of this home so you probably can expect some major issues. What do you think of the price?

  • Cute house, yes. You’re right, it does probably need a lot of work. Taxes are low for Newburgh, but $3.5K a year is a tough pill to swallow to live on that block. However, as I’ve been told I’ve been a bit too negative lately, I will offer some optimism that IF a plethora or swarm of good folk by-and-live in these homes there exists aTREMENDOUS POTENTIAL for this city to be the absolute best, most vibrant and elegant city in the Hudson Valley.
And Cher, it was a pleasure to meet you and your husband this weekend at the Urban Market.
