If you dream of having your own business inside a historic firehouse here is your chance. This building was once home to the Columbian Hose Co. No. 2. There are many beautiful historic details remaining, however the space needs a lot of work. It is unclear if the tenant will have to do renovations or the owner. (UPDATE** The owner will do a build out for a tenant, or would consider a rent credit for the right one.) The stained glass windows and original doors are particularly beautiful. This could make an amazing restaurant (it’s close enough to the court house), studio or office space. There are many nice buildings at this section of Broadway that have been updated and are maintained.

This would make a great Pub!
That was also the home to the former NEWVAC ambulance corps back in the 70’s when I was a member. I spent a ton of time in that place…
Very cool property indeed! I love the idea of a pub, or a really great restaurant!
Wow, I never even knew that was there. And I’ve probably driven past there a hundred times in the 4 years i’ve been in Newburgh.
i agree that it would make for a really interesting spot for a pub or restaurant. Looks like it needs a lot of work. This property is resurrecting my dream of opening up a cool, chic, sports bar!! Somebody lend me about $100 grand so I can go do that!
We can crowd source you Eddie 😉
Put in a few slot machines and the tptb will be stumbling over each other to lend you the money, they may even give your endeavour a PILOT ; )
Ha! A casino. That’s perfect. Then we can have a bunch of pawn shops and more liquor stores all along broadway.
