Newburgh Open Studios 2015 This Weekend!

NOS 2015 train

Newburgh celebrates the Arts! 61 artists will participate in the Fifth Annual, Newburgh Open Studios taking place Saturday and Sunday, September 26th and 27th, 2015 from 11am – 5pm each day. It is a FREE self-guided tour. Maps will be available at Newburgh Art Supply, 5 Grand Street, Saturday and Sunday September 26th and 27th starting at 10am. The map can be downloaded beginning Friday, September 18th by visiting the studio tour website

Organized by Gerardo Castro and Michael Gabor, co-owners of Newburgh Art Supply, this year’s Newburgh Open Studios will introduce the public to Newburgh’s burgeoning arts community with the opening of artists’ work studios, alternative gallery spaces, and store front windows. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet and talk with emerging and established artists and craftspeople in spaces rarely open to the public. Much of the self-guided tour is ‘walkable’.

This year the studio tour has FREE shuttle service from the Beacon station – both days of the tour.

Now you can take the Hudson Line train to Beacon station and hop on the FREE shuttle and make your rounds for the Newburgh OPEN Studios! The shuttle does not take you to each studio. Drop Off on Liberty St. and Broadway.
Newburgh Open Studios is a MTA Getaways weekend event
