World Music and Culture Series: Aljam and the Reggaelution Band

SUNY Orange is kicking off their World Music and Culture Series in 2013 with The Reggaelution Band Friday, February 22 at 7pm. They will present a concert showcasing their own work as well as many Reggae hits, including some by Bob Marley and UB 40.

One of New York City’s most celebrated Reggae groups, the Reggaelution Band was featured in the off-Broadway hit, Driving on the Left Side by Blackbird Productions, and in American Love Story, a documentary by Jennifer Folk and MTV Real Works. The group has prodcued a CD, Love Affair, and a hit single, “Don’t Give Up.”

This event is sponsored by Cultural Affairs at the SUNY Orange Newburgh Campus. It is open to the public.
