Creative minds are starting to move west on Broadway. RagHaus Letterpress just moved to 223 Broadway, an old HVAC shop. If you have been following the blog, you would have seen the work of the German born RagHaus owner, Markus Hartel, previously. He designed the logo for Newburgh’s newest wine shop, Palate Wine & Spirits and he is also a Newburgh homeowner. We shared his house tour on Liberty Street last December. It’s very exciting that people are not only choosing to move to Newburgh, but also open businesses as well. The RagHaus website shares Markus’ story of how he found Newburgh why he began a letter press business. You should definitely consider reading it if you are thinking of doing something similar.
