Registration is open for MTA public hearing

If you commute to NYC from Orange County the following article is very important.

“NEWBURGH – The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will hold a hearing on proposed fare increases, service cuts and the “mobility” tax at 6 p.m. March 2 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 15 Crossroads Court.

“These proposals will not just affect those who live in New York City. They will have a serious impact on families and businesses throughout Orange County,” Sen. William Larkin, R-Cornwall, said in a release.

Those who wish to testify must register prior to the meeting. Residents can sign up to testify, submit comments or find out more information by going to www.mta.info. Oral testimony is limited to three minutes per speaker.”
