  • Great seminar as the rules have changed. Knowing the process of selling and how to go about getting a mortgage is the first step for any buyer. It can seem obvious but the details can be overwhelming. Thanks to M & T Bank for putting this seminar together!!

  • Sounds very useful, buying your first home can seem like grasping in the dark without a little bit of help

  • Please continue sharing with others about the Seminar for first time home buyers; English session at 6:00-7:30 pm and Spanish session at 7:30-9:00 pm.. The community needs to learn more about housing opportunities in Newburgh City and with everyone’s efforts bring the City back.

  • Excellent to see the efforts being made. Will certainly share this with others in the community (and beyond!)

  • Take what information this seminar has to offer and literally live for six months budgeted for said mortgage along with the associated costs of winter utility rates, municipal services, a couple of hundred per month allocated toward house related expenses. As well, set aside monies for the unexpected, i.e. unemployment or a health issue and anticipate a minimum 10 % rise in annual property/school taxes. Seriously, if you can’t do it, keep renting. Mortgage applications are at a 19 year low for a reason people and, no, a house is not an investment.
